Mr. Carey joined the staff of Southwest Sciences as a Research Engineer in December 2010. From 2007 to 2010, he worked for Honeywell, Inc., as a Software Engineer at the White Sands Complex where he wrote and maintained satellite control and monitoring software as well as led a software engineering team.
For the last 20 years, Mr. Carey has specialized in writing data acquisition and instrument control software in a variety of programming languages including National Instruments LabVIEW and Microsoft Visual Basic. He has worked for both industry and academia in such diverse fields as inertial confinement fusion and semiconductor manufacturing.
Mr. Carey is an author of one publication.
